SUPPORT HEMP TODAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

By May 2, 2018 No Comments

Hemp’s benefits and uses are well documented as is the fact that industrial hemp is not a psychoactive plant.

Despite the 2014 Farm Act Bill which made it possible for hemp to be sold within the United States, hemp has suffered from a patchwork of state and federal laws. Some states (like Elixinol’s home state of Colorado) have made it possible to grow hemp, but due to the oddities of classification, hemp remained on the DEA’s list of schedule 1 drugs, making it a controlled substance, even as the FDA approved CBD hemp oil as a dietary supplement.

Finally, hemp’s fate could now once and for all change for the better.

HEMP FARM ACT BILL OF 2018

New legislation in Congress, The Hemp Farm Act Bill of 2018 (Senate Bill 2667 and House Bill 5485) will permanently remove industrial hemp as a controlled substance. Not only do these bills clear-up legal confusion about hemp, both bills support farmers and create a path for good-paying American jobs and real economic activity.
