Advertising for CBD in London is now becoming a common sight. If you live or work in London, you may have seen our adverts on the London underground in June. In fact, we’re blazing a trail as the first CBD brand to advertise on the Tube, using digital signage and video boards across stations including Euston, St Pancras, Charing Cross, Cannon St., Kings Cross and Fenchurch St. So if you haven’t seen us, what have you been doing?
As you may already know, we’re a market-leading CBD brand in the USA, and this move should help us become more established on this side of the pond. Our two-week campaign was expected to gain a whopping 2.1 million views across the capital. We’ve recently had some digital banner adverts on the Daily Mail too. We even had a CBD ad displayed on New Year’s eve on Times Square in New York!
Elixinol’s EU Sales and Marketing Director, Ali Atcha says of the campaign, “As the global market for CBD products accelerates, we are taking the lead in driving brand awareness in capital cities. London’s busy rail stations provide an ideal canvas for our first major European digital video and signage campaign, with the very high footfall providing an unrivaled level of brand exposure to consumers.”
It’s the first time hemp or CBD ads have been shown on the London Tube, and it is expected to deliver some great results, based on a survey that found more than 40 per cent of rail users are open to new sources of information and inspiration while travelling.
