January 30th saw the close of Elixinol’s very first CBD pop-up shop in Westfield White City, London. For three months shoppers had the opportunity to visit the CBD concession and get to know a thing or two about products containing the ingredient the world is raving about- Cannabidiol, or CBD for short. There’s no surprise that the general public is learning more and more about this mystery substance with a flood of information now available. But learning about something new and forthcoming can often be confusing. And that’s where Elixinol stand apart- intent on offering customers the most education-based shopping experience available.
Unanswered questions and lingering misunderstandings are certainly enough to put anyone off making a purchase. This is especially true when the purchase is a supplement in question being physically applied or consumed. It’s safe to say people care about what they put on and in their bodies, so discovering the benefits of CBD on an individual basis requires reassurance. And that comes directly from being educated about the product. Something Chris Birkett, Elixinol’s Head of Hemp Education and Training, takes very seriously. Not only was he the main face of the pop-up concession but he was also the driving force behind the concept itself, once he discovered that 75% of people who tried Elixinol products at trade shows and exhibitions went on to buy. The high rate of consumer commitment attributed to being able to chat about the products and ask questions. And so the immersive CBD educational retail experience was born!
Ciao CBD took part in the CBD pop-up shop and had positive things to say. They were relieved to approach the concession without feeling pressured to buy. They were pleasantly surprised to have been offered samples and noted the impact that had for someone who had never before tried CBD. They were impressed with the quality of flavour of the ‘cinnamint’ sample- even describing it as ‘delicious.’ They were appreciative of the individual attention and knowledge they received regarding each product available for sale and they were impressed with staff professionalism and consistency during their visits.
Elixinol conquered the first major UK shopping centre at Westfield with their innovative conception and now that the CBD pop-up shop has seen its completion, they have set their sights on the larger UK arena. Following up to their other claims to fame of being the first CBD brand to advertise in Times Square and the first to advertise on London Underground stations, they now reign as the first brand to sell on Ideal World shopping channel, remarkably selling out of stock within hours of the live broadcast.
The CBD pop-up shop was an idea bold and new that represents a taste of what Elixinol have in store for 2020. Elixinol’s CBD products are no longer available at Westfield White City but their full range is always available online through their website and while supplies last through Ideal World. Keep a look out for original new products coming soon such as a micro-encapsulated CBD powder with improved bioavailability- greater bioavailability means greater CBD potency. Also a range of organic CBD infused skincare, haircare and line of CBD-Centric pet products to cover every base.
